Apart from posing a risk to your child, air pollution also creates problems for you as a pregnant woman. Cysts are at risk of developing cardiovascular problems, hypertension, and asthma. Even worse, air pollution can actually increase the risk of miscarriage, especially pregnancies at a very young age.

Now, to avoid all kinds of risks to you and your fetus, you should avoid places that contain a lot of air pollution such as vehicle fumes, factory smoke, cigarette smoke, dusty places and the like. But if you really have to, it's better if you always wear a mask when you are outside the room.
